The Very Rigid Search for Relaxation

I thought that once I hit Vegas things would be really great. Turns out, I was wrong. I get to the airport, find my bags and try to find my ride: Mike and Dave were to pick me up, but my brother and Dave were not there. So, fine, I text messaged Dave to let him know where I was. Turns out, he went to the completely wrong terminal. (Apparently it's really confusing to navigate between the two terminals).

It also doesn't help that my brother's x-roommate was driving and trying to find the terminal. He's a nice guy but kind of a space cadet. Anyways, at this point we can't actually leave the airport and go back to the hotel because we have pick up some lady we have never met. Why you ask? Well, let me tell you: we are to pick up Stephanie's (the Bride) grandmother's sister and Taras (Mike's former roommate) has no idea what she looks like. Fine, so we try to find a flight coming in from San Fransisco and we manage to figure out that the Bonnie(Stephanie's Mom) and Mike don't really have the correct flight information. Meanwhile, the parking meter has run out because we are searching in the Las Vegas airport for an old lady, whom we've never met! You can imagine how angry I am right now; I have just spent the night in Monreal at a hotel in the farthest wing in the hotel from civilization; having been up since 5:30 in search of my luggage, and have just been flying for what felt like 8 hours, but was really 5 and then get to the airport to be greeted, not by my brother (whom I haven't seen in 8 months) but by his spacey roommate. And then have to search the airport for some random old broad. Okay, so at this point, I'm tired, I want to shower and get to the hotel and eat something. Even though I'm being super negativo, one good thing is, it's super warm and I'm totally stoked for the warm weather and being in Las Vegas.
Dave and I then decide to get a taxi to the hotel and leave the roommate to fend for himself.

We get there and it's awesome: the room is big, there is a giant pool, casino, hot tub, gym and bar! Here are a few pictures. If anyone is planning to go to Vegas I would recommend this place; it's close to the strip, cheap, and awesome!

I must say I pretty much hit relaxation mode as soon as I stepped out of the shower. I was super relaxed and felt clean and pretty awesome. Except for the fact that I hadn't eaten anything all day. I managed to find something to eat (Hamburger with avocado and cheese, it was good!

Let me just take a moment here and mention to everyone that it is now approximately 1:30pm, I've been in Vegas about 3 hours and I still haven't seen my brother.

I must say it was quite the adventure to get to Las Vegas, something I didn't think that I would have to go through, however, I think it needs to happen to everyone at least once because it makes you stronger and wiser, or does it?
