ka-fay la-tay
It turns out that I really shouldn't work. Let me tell you why:
1. I've fallen one and a half times. It kind of hurt, but not really. Mostly, it was uncomfortable - for me and my manager/owner.
2. I chipped a dish, it's now in the garbage.
3. I drop things on the floor, all the time.
4. I continue to overflow the coffee sauces about 3 times a day and not on purpose. Mostly it's because I'm retarded.
5. Yesterday a bottle of Peppermint syrup fell on the floor (you might say that I had placed it on the floor and then I think I knocked it over somehow) it broke and leaked all over the floor and under the fridge. This all happend during a rush. The floor got all sticky and super gross. I had to mop it up later that day.
6. I screw up drink orders like crazy. For instance, I give people whole milk when they specifically asked for skim; a caramel macchiato requires caramel sauce, espresso, vanilla syrup shot and milk, apparently I like to make it with caramel syrup, espresson, vanilla shot and milk. I screwed up a london fog drink, apparently you're supposed to add a shot of vanilla, I completely left out that shot entirely.
7. I thought that I had been setting the alarm incorrectly for the past 3 weeks, but did it anyway. Turns out I was right.
8. OMG, I almost forgot, the funniest. Last week I was filling the sink with water to do the dishes (which I have to do as part of my job) and I left the back to go help a customer. All of a sudden I remembered that I had the water running, luckily for me I was able to catch it in time. I learned a very valuable lesson, or so I thought. That very same day, not even two hours later I went to fill the sink again and I left to go help a customer, sure enough I go back to the sink and find that the water has overflowed over the sink onto the counters, under the meat slicing machine, and onto the floor. What a joy that was cleaning up!
If you ask me these are all grounds for being fired and yet, I'm still working there. This guy must be desparate if he needs to keep me on his payroll.

Caryl
