CJ + JC

No this isn't a mathematical equation, although it should be, but then it wouldn't make sense because there is no equal sign. If it was an equation it would be CJ + JC = true love. And yes, I'm in grade five.
Lately, I've been having feelings for this guy; I think he's funny, good looking, and really talented. We've spent a lot of time together, like we've been on a few dates and our next one is on Sunday. There is, however, a slight problem - he doesn't know I exist.
I want to make myself perfectly clear here, I'm not a stalker, I'm merely just a fan who has a crush on this guy from tv. I mean, even if he wasn't on tv I would still have a crush on him, I'm sure of it.
You may be wondering who it is, I mean I would be if I were you, but maybe you're not wondering. If you are, you're in luck, I'm about to tell you.

If you've ever seen Flight of the Conchords he's on that show. If you don't know what this show is, you should!

I was going to show a picture of my sbf, but then I thought that that was totally stalker-eque so I'm going to leave it.

Until next time.

Caryl's Wonder Years

So I'm going to go old school here so bare with me.

Do any of you remember The Wonder Years episode where Kevin's parents invite friends over and they bring their daughter. Kevin is super excited because it's a girl and he probably had a crush on her. Well, a couple of days before this meeting he notices a pimple developing on his face and by the time he actually meets the girl his pimple is the size of a small quarter.
Remember this episode?
Well that's my life right now. Only I'm not meeting anyone, except people at work and some of Dave's relatives.
Good times for Caryl Davies, aka the pimple face!

Better left with no picture!

Where have you been?

Well, let me tell you. Where haven't I been? Not blogging, that's for sure.

So, I have some crazy updates. For those of you who read this, the few that you are, I have decided to go back to school. Actually, I applied to school in February thinking I wasn't going to get in and low and behold I was accepted. So I'm going to Humber to study Comedy: Writing and Performance. Hooray! I'm following a dream I've had forever.

That being said I've recently moved back to Toronto. Let me tell you, it's been quite a change, Toronto is so different from Vancouver, but I must say, listening to City Slickers at my desk, I've realized that they are quite amazing cities, and I feel priviledged to have lived in both.

I have returned to the big smoke to re-explore it, myself and others.
That being said, I have a message to all you Torontonians. This message may not get to you, but knowing that I've written it will make me feel better.
Message to Torontonians
1. For those of you who are in such a rush you really need to simmer down the thing that you're running for will still be there in 10 minutes.
2. When waiting for the GO train to arrive at Union Station you don't have to get up out of your seat until the train has fully stopped. If you plan on leaving your seat ten minutes before the train actually stops get out of your seat and give it to me, I'll gladly sit there and enjoy the comforts of sitting down.
3. This refers to number one - rushing. If you really need to catch the first subway that you hear and are running down the escalators to catch it you should probably look into workers comp - you're going to hurt yourself and others. There's a reason why the TTC specifically has new posters about STANDING on the escalators. FYI, they are going to be instituting a rule where you will be fined if they catch you walking up and down the escalators. Beware! and Becareful!
4. I can't think of this yet, but I'm sure something will pop up.

Anyways, I'm glad to be back. Looking forward to rekindling friendships that were left behind.

Until then!
